Hi, I know there are a lot of threads for this, but none seem to answer my question.
Anyhow, just moved into a place and the cistern is very slow filling (10-15 mins). However, I have notice that where the water comes in on the right of the picture (up a hole, through a small horizontal plastic pipe that ends in a long cylinder of plastic that feeds the water to the bottom of the cistern, I assume to stop noisy dripping), if I block the hole with my finger for a second (causing pressure to build up) and then release, then the flow of water out of the hole pretty much doubles. However, once the cistern is full and the valve cuts off, when I then flush the toilet the flow of water into the cistern returns to a trickle.
As always, any help would be great.
Thanks
