Our system was recently converted to sealed/pressurised (Nov 2024). I've had one TRV leak, causing pressure loss. Replaced it and the pressure stayed for longer.

I've seen it go from 1.2 bar down to 1.0 bar over the last three weeks. A significant amount of gurgling and air, mainly in one particular upstairs radiator. After bleeding out the air, it was at 0.7 bar.

Today, before trying to check underfloor pipes etc. I had a really good look at the other TRVs. Removing the head showed quite a bit of crustiness inside, and after cleaning up the pin, a very slow seepage could be seen coming out of the plastic surrounding the pin. This was not enough to cause drips or damp carpet.

Is it likely that I've found the culprit here? Maybe the lost water evaporates from the heat inside the body, I suppose?

Well, if it’s leaking in needs fixing. See how the pressure holds up after that.

Will do - TRVs ordered. I'll also change one that isn't leaking but has a stuck pin (gentle pressure freed it a bit. but seemed worse than the others).
May as well fix everything in one go.
