Small Porch Roof

hi Everyone
hope someone can give me some advise on this. i noticed an opening in my entrance porch roof a few months ago. there is no leak (yet) but am wondering if this is something i need to worry about.
please see pictures attached. looks to me like the breach is in some sort of paint used to cover the whole roof but am not sure. is this something i need to worry about please?
is it paint work on the roof or some other material that covers the whole roof?

I don’t know if it’s the colour of the roof but that looks like leadwork? If they’ve used some sort of waterproofing paint on wood then I would recommend putting some grey sealant in it.

Unlikely.
It's probably one of those bolt-on prefab GRP fellas with a faux lead look roof.

seems the sealant option isnt a bad idea. i wonder how long a type of external silicone sealant would last. thank you
