Hey when using plastic pipe if theres a small scratch were u want to put a fitting will it leak or is it just if its realy badly scratched it will leak?

If the scratch is directly under the "O" ring there is a good chance that you may get a small weep. Sometimes it will weep more at low pressures, you should always try and protect the pipe when installing it for that reason.
what about on polysure fittings were the o-ring sits against the internal wall of the pipe?

Since the seal is not there I dont undeerstand whgat those are meant to do ( apart from selling at ahigher price! )
If the pipe is slightly scratehed then its usually possible to polish out the scratch with very fine emery paper! ( Crocus paper ).
