Small wooden wall

My first post so please be gentle

I want to build a small wall to divide my flowerbed from the grass. I'm not really a fan of bricks so was looking at mounting small logs vertically and arrange them so the border is curved.

Was thinking the border needs to be 40cm in height from ground level and the entire length of the border is approx 40ft, so quite a size.

Any tips on how to mount the logs would be appreciated.
