hi
we are in a semi detached house. when in loft today i saw some water on one of the timber truss (the members which run at an angle just like roof). Truss is one on the chimney side.
it appeared water originated from where the truss is connected to chimney at top and appeared to run down the truss.
I am attaching the two photos. First one shows the position of truss. The truss with water is not very visible in the overview photo as it is behind. However the close up shows the place where i think the water is coming down from.
I will get a roofer to have a look but so i can get some idea, what is the possible fix?
