Hi all this is my first so post so be nice :)

I have just purchased a bht-6000 smart thermostat.

we currently have a Danfoss tp5000 which is battery powered.

I have 4 that come from the wall behind this thermostat.

1 earth
1 black wire with a brown sleeve over it
1 brown wire
1 grey wire with a blue sleeve on it.

can anyone help me with where these wires need to go on my new thermostat pictures attached.

The brown wire in (Com) goes to Dry contact (1)

The black wire in (N/O) goes to Dry contact (2)

That's the switching sorted. But as you realise the new stat is not battery powered, so it also needs a 230V mains supply to operate it. You may be lucky and the brown wire is also a Live and the grey wire with a blue sleeve on at the back is a Neutral. Someone competent should check that this is the case with a multimeter first. If so, then the grey wire goes in N (3). Then a short wire should be inserted to link terminals (1) and the L (4)

If there is an existing timeswitch or programmer for the heating elsewhere, that should be set to be permanently 'on'. Otherwise it will interfere with the operation of the new smart thermostat. This would also need to be the case when testing the wires as described above.

Thanks followed your instructions for mine. Different colours but your explanation was so clear I could follow. Many thanks
