smeg d1612a dishwasher

Hi All i got a new smeg d1612a dishwasher a few weeks ago put in salt and rinse aid and started using 3in1 tablets, The items clean ok but do not dry very well and cutlery and some glasses are smeary had engineers out twice first one changed the board because i told him after the wash the dryer stop strarts a good few times before staying on (it still does this is it normal), The second engeneer called smeg and they told him to advise to use powder until the salt and rinse aid run out i did manage to get powder could only get big box the salt and rinse aid have not run out yet but the cuttlery is still smeary.
I have had 3 or 4 dishwashers and never had this problem any ideas?

Get back onto the retailer. 2 repairs, still not fixed. See if you can get it changed.
