Smeg Dishwasher NOT working

Hi,

I have a SMEG dishwasher that you start the cycle,momments later it stops and just shows the programme cycle number,its as if the door has been opened,you find your self re-starting this through out the whole cycle,which is ok if your home ( all-though a pain) NOT so good if your in work.
Has anyone any suggestions PLEASE !!!!!!
