Smeg dishwasher on constant drain

Hello all.
My dishwasher a smeg DFD6132X is constantly draining after fitting a new drain pump. I have checked the anti flood switch and it seems to be OK. The machine is still draining whether I press or depress the switch. I put my multi meter across the switch to check for continuity and the switch seams OK. I really don't know what else I can check for. Can anyone advise me?
