Smeg Oven Upper Oven Grill Element not working

The grill (Upper Oven Grill Element) in my Smeg oven is not working, I realized the 4 wires at the back that connect to it are all loose. Can i fix it by connecting them myself? is it something dangerous or hard to do? Could someone please explain to me how to do it?

The wires in the wall are what Electrics are about.

The boxey things that connect to the electrics in the wall (oven, fridge, dishwasher, etc) are called appliances.
