first bottom full of water and wouldn't drain and reading error e6. so checked filter and pipe. water has now drained. but still won't work on any cycle and reading as E 6.

anything else i can do please?
would be grateful for advice

Some times there is a tray on the bottom of dishwashers. In this tray there is a polystyrene float connected to a micro-switch. If the machine floods tray fills up, trips micro switch trips switches off water.

Check micro switch is working ok sometimes the float moves out of position and jams microswitch (usualy when moving machine about)
