Smell from boiler

We recently moved into a bungalow.It has a back boiler which up until last week has been working fine.

When we had snow on thurs I noticed an odd smell,not gas but the type of smell that comes out of a flue.

I wondered if this could be to do with a possible blockage?

The flames seem a bit yellow so we have had it turned off for now and are getting the local corgi guy to have a look.

There is no smell when the water heater or rads are off.
