Smell from kitchen sink

Should I add another P trap at the top of the sink to stop smells coming back up?

P trap currently sits at the bottom.

Tried a unblocker but still smells time to time.

Take it off, clean it out and make it shorter so that there is no dip, this is where it collects waste and smells from.
