smelly bog

Hi,

my downstairs/cloakroom/bog smells a little odd. I cant find the source of the smell, its just a little odd smell to describe. I dont think its a leak, well I cant find anything - taken the floorcovering up, concrete floor and no sign of anything. The waste pipes for the toilet and handbasin feed under the kitchen floor via the kitchen sink and dishwasher waste to a ourside manhole that looks all nice and clean and no smells...

I was going to take the sink trap apart and see what I find tomorrow, any thoughts?

Normally this is a sign of a blocked manhole, which you have checked.

But I would check again when the toilet is being flushed to show that it is free flowing.
