Smg Dishwater DF613SDX Fault Error E1

Hi, can anyone give any ideas how to remedy an E1 error on this dishwasher? The manual says it is an acquastop failure and that the anti-flooding system has been activated. There is no water at all in the machine and every time I try and clear the error by switching the machine off and re-setting the programme, within a couple of seconds the error lights come back on.

Any suggestions?
