Our back door handle has always been stiff and yesterday I snapped it off.

Where do I start with replacing it? The screw holes are 210mm apart and the handle is about 70/75mm down from the top screw. Will that be enough info to get a new one?

I’ll ask about the stiffness once I get it, Thanks (y)

You need to know distance from handle centre to middle of big hole where Euro cylinder goes.

It's either 92mm or 70mm

If your handle had been stiff for a while, your door more than likely has dropped a bit over time, making it harder to lock, if you replace the handles and it's still stiff then try adjusting the hinges to pull the door back up, most broken gearboxes that I used to get called to started off with stiff handles, it shouldn't really take more than 2 fingers to lift the handle and turn the key, just trying to save you from a bigger job, replacing the gearbox.

Nice lock, use the same one myself
