I have a question on the installation of a new soakaway.
The situation is as follows......
Two Semi-detached properties sharing one down pipe draining rain water into a single soakaway.
The down pipe is situated on my side.
The soakaway is situated on my side.
I am planning an extension and want to move the soakaway - does the soakaway still have to be 2.5m away from the boundary with the neighbours or does this rule not apply due to it being a shared soakaway?
