Sockets have suddenly stopped working

Hi All I hope you can help

I went to bed last night and switched my lamp on to read only to realise it wasn't working so I tried the one the other side of the bed and that wasn't working either which I thought was odd. I then noticed that my tele wasn't on standby in there either. (Both lamp and tele had been working the night before)

I got up this morning and checked and all the other sockets in the house are working fine and the fuse box hasn't got any tripped fuses. (All my sockets are on the same fuse I have recently had a new box so I know it's not that either.)

I have switched the power off and checked both the double sockets and all the wiring is fine, not damaged and all connected up right but it's still not working even with a different thing plugged in. I had new sockets fronts on there in 2013 too so it's not them.

Any ideas what could be wrong before I call out a sparky please x

I would guess supplied from a fused connection unit and either that has blown a fused or been switched off.
