Soffit Lights?

Hi guys, I’m currently building a garage and wanted to fit some black gu10 soffit lights (to match the house) whilst the scaffold is still up.

Is there a particular rating or type I should be looking for?

What is the soffit made of?

I would go for LED lights. At least IP44 to give a reasonable degree of resistance to water.

Hi mate they are plastic, I did plan to use LED. I’ll take a look for some IP44 rated ones. Thanks for the help!

If the soffits are plastic, do not use downlights that get hot! LEDs are the way forward.

I’ve just had a look at the ones in the house... can anyone point me in the right direction to buy the same or similar? Can see any branding on them? Thanks

Get any black GU10 downlight. Like this
and put the GU10 LED lamp of your choice in it.
