soffit lights

Hi all.
I want to put some down lights in the soffit do i need to use certain lights/covers ect, what ones are easier?

What is better LV or 230v

I normally recommend IP56 showerlights fitted with GU10 CFLs. They run cool and still produce lots of light. Using showerlights will prevent the fitting / lamp connections from exposure to the elements and corrosion.

Soffits are not suitable for normal halogen downlights if they are wooden or plastic, due to the heat they generate.

RF don't mean to sound rude, but did you mean IP65 rather then IP56 for the shower light,
