soffits and fascias removal

my soffits and fasicas are showing signs of wear and tear
had qoutes for full removal and just boarding over wood with upvc
what the normal procedure states should be done

full removal is best.

only overboard GOOD timber or you are just masking the problem.

New boards in your case everytime.
make sure whoever does it lays 6mm ply on the new fascias,sloping upwards up onto the rafters before they lay the new DPC.
