Whats the general feeling about soffits - is it a purely cosmetic or do they serve a real purpose. My mate reckons paint the eaves with masonry paint, cover 'em with facia and they won't need touching again til the next time you paint the whole house. I'm still in two minds.
Just after some general "facia and soffit" type feedback really. Would you or wouldn't you.
