Soft Sheen straight over silk.. Is this ok?

Hi, I'd like to paint over a wall which had been done in silk using the same colour in soft sheen.

Can anyone tell me if this is definitely ok? or will the newly applied soft sheen crack or blister or do something bad?

Painting over vinyl silk is a complete lottery.

Thats one of the little tricks of soft sheen, if you have made a mistake and painted silk, but then realised its kraaap, and want to go matt.
Then the trick is to go over the silk with soft sheen, then wait a day or so, then paint with your matt.

Still sand down the old silk, and wipe down any dust etc.
