Hi

I want to try and fit a new downstairs toilet into a renovation I've just started. The soil pipe is a bit away from the wall, so not sure what options there are for the new toilet. I'd like to avoid the long pipe from the cistern, but don't know how I could Brin g the cistern forward. I'm a complete plumbing novice so grateful for any advice. Couple of pictures attached will hopefully explain the situation better

A close coupled toilet with a bottom outlet pan may be an option. Twyford Alcona I think is one but others may be available. Would need to check dimensions but a small amount of flexibility given by using offset pan connector.

What's the actual measurement from the wall to the centre of the soil pipe in the floor?

Dealt with 100s of these in Jerry-built ex-council homes.

Most of them get "boxed out" to hide the projection which then makes it impossible to do any maintenance on the bath waste or bath taps that are usually right next to it!

Move the soil pipe is the best solution which means digging and cutting.
