Hello all,

I am about to buy all the soil components to link my 1st floor en-suite to the new drain fitted by my builder.
I priced up on Screwfix and all comes to approximately £80.
I checked my local trade company and they have quoted £125. They advised me that Screwfix supply Floplast products that use lower quality plastic compared to other brands.
I have looked at the Floplast website & they certainly have a good website.

Has anyone had experience with this brand?

Any opinions would be great.

many thanks in advance, Alex.

Thanks noseall,
Just surfing the net, they seem to have a very good name. Even the BSI website has good info on them.
Its a shame local companys say these kind of things, as it really puts me off going in to town. I have found certainly by this Forum and other web sites, that advice is normally really fast and honest by regular guys who are in the trade and are happy to share knowlege with DIYers.

thanks again.

all soil is to standard dimensions ;) waste pipes can differ slightly ..........so stick to the one make BUT use Multiquik for WC connections and HepV O waste valves instead of traps .............then you`re up to builder`s price BUT with better quality fittings that I`ve suggested ;)

Order everything from Screwfix and then say something was missing and they will send you the whole lot again
I once had 10 lengths of soil and 6 bends when just one bend was missing :D
They even let me keep radiators with small scratches :D
