Hello all
Had a quick search and couldn't find anything, so here goes....
I've got part of a soil pipe visible in the new bathroom.
See pic.
The easiest solution I could go for would be to just box in the minimum with a bit of plasterboard (prob MR green) and skim, paint etc.
However, as we're quite limited on storage in there, I'd quite like to box just the main pipe at the bottom and then make some 'square opening' shelves on top - perhaps 2 openings and up to the height of the sink. Would even give a bit of a shelf for toothbrush holder etc.
I hope that description makes sense!
I'm not sure of the best type of wood to get a good finish etc and how to go about it.
Saw a post that MDF not good for bathroom, but there is a MR version.
Advice gratefully received!
