Fit an air admittance valve, it allows air in to stop negative pressure behind the flow :D

would i need access to my soil stack to fit that?? thanx for reply...

Put it on your waste pie within 150 mm of sink, or do as Kev advised :D

Presumably, this problem hasn't always existed so don't go spending money on valves until you've checked a few things out. You can start at the top of your soil stack. Has a bird taken up residence on it? If it's a straight, vertical stack you should be able to see all the way to the bottom so check this too.

Lift the manhole cover nearest the bottom of the stack and get somebody to flush the toilet(s). If water doesn't gush freely you have a partial blockage. That loud clicking suggests an obstruction in the pipe but finding it will need some detective work. Sound travels easily up and down a pipe so it could be anywhere, even in the manhole.

the soil stack is plastic and runs down inside of wall at front of house and bends into drive, about halfway down drive i have a man hole that feeds 3 other propertys and water seems to run freely. :)

Do the bath and basin share a common pipe into the stack and, whether they do or not, does it/do they enter the stack above or below the toilet?

pipe from sink runs down under floor and joins toilet waste which then enters stack.pipe from bath enters stack directly above toilet pipe..

could it be expansion of the plastic stack with hot water ?

or is the same effect with cold water?

when running tap clicking in stack takes a while to start, when opening plug hole to empty bath clicking seems to be more instant..
