can any one help ?
liviing in UAE A/C knicking in now March to Nov with extreme heat & humidity May/ June ,July, Aug, Sept / Oct . is there a way of cutting bills by hooking up to the solar energy to save power and costs seems such a waste not too.

idealy need something that fairly portable as property rented . flat roof has 2 big A/C unit on roof for upstairs and down .
Water tank in Garden. In summer we tun off, the water heaters as the sun heats the cold tanks enough to produce hot water . and for cold , we use the hot water tanks turned off as they must be inside as they are cold .

Cant seem to find much - it must exist - found ground pumps any gogd.

Ground pumps are for extracting heat, you dig a hole / trench put pipe in fill hole, pump water through pipes take heat (thats the short version) not really portable is it?

Air con usually is electric, UAE has loads of sunshine so use electric solar panels.

Solar panels can be portable but they are not that efficiant (yet) and dont make that much electricity. not to mention the cost of them.

Iknow its ony for a caravan but look at the cost of this little kit clicky
other suppliers of solar panel kits are available.

You should also ask yourself, "if solar is that good why has no one in the UAE done it for people like you?"

They havent because its still too costly

I guess you will just have to move back to dear old blighty

It has always been hard where humid. Where dry one can use water evaporation to cool things sure you can remember the sponge covers for milk bottles which sat in a tray of water? But they don't work when humid. White curtains at windows and keeping the closed of course helps. Also use of induction hobs rather than gas reduces heat into room.
What always annoyed me was there was no way to pipe the heat from fridge and freezer outside. I noted locals often kept the whole units in non air conditioned areas.
I preferred the inland areas hotter but less humid.
