Looking for a solar powered PIR light to stick in a porch, there are lots available on Amazon etc, but most of them look cheap and plastic-ey, and either the LED's, solar panel, or battery life leave a lot to be desired.
Can anyone recommend a half decent one, without spending £££'s

The first one looks about what's required, but does it actually throw out light, just needs to light the ground about 2 square metres beneath it.
I'm beginning to think that 12v might be a better option.

porch means shade so may be off little use unless its south facing and low enough on the wall to get any direct light onto the solar panel

Comes with nearly 5m of cable so easy to get it in the sun, use it to light the path from my garage to house.

aahh nice one
i had envisaged an all in one unit
at 5m could probably reach the house roof if that gets more sunshine
