Soldering Question

Fitting new TRVs, so gonna have to solder reducers on to pipe but its gonna be very close to a puch fit connection,

Question is how close can you solder to a push fit without damaging the seal

I would want it at least a foot away and the pipe would be covered with a wet towel too.

Why would you need to solder

Renew the pushfit connection? Or replace it with a solder joint.
