solid floor steps

could some people educate me about solid floors and how they are built?
is this right lay dpm then insulation then lay concrete on top?

I am building a shed by with help with builder but I want to do half.

and how do i put rebar on it the builder will be doing this but I Want to know as I'm interested.

Dig off fertile matter (soil).

Lay hard core and compact.

Blind hardcore with sand (optional).

Lay shutter boards if needed.

Lay concrete.

The fitting of the DPM and insulation will depend on how you are detailing the shed base base. This is where a small amount of design nous is needed.
