Hi,
The age old question...how to insulate our internal walls of our solid stone built barn?
I have read lots on this site and I'm still confused.
The walls are sandstone, about 2ft 6in thick and seem to be doing a very good job, no mould, no obvious damp etc.
We are planning on having a GSHP installed with underfloor heating throughout so we must insulate the walls in order for this heating method to be effective.
I have been advised that a slurry coat ,75mm insulated plasterboard (dot n dab) and then plastered is the way to go.
Any thoughts,
Thanks in advance.
