Hi
Hoping to lay some reclaimed floorboards downstairs, we have a concrete floor that is in quite good condition (unsure if there's DPM beneath this)...my plan was to put down DPM, then lay battens on top of this (screwed into concrete below), and then nail floorboards to this. does this sound OK and would you recommend putting any insulation between the floorboards? this seems to make sense to me in terms of it not sounding hollow and insulating also, but then my concern is that it would get a lot of condensation etc underneath the boards, and instead if there's space between battens that would allow more air flow. thanks for your help
