OK, i need some help here. I know someone here will come good.

I bought a prop from a well known movie.

This prop lights up and ha a load of leds.

Here is a photo of the connector and 4 bares wires i have.

What do i need to do to get this lit. I am worried about putting to much voltage through and blowing them!

You'll need a DC power supply or some batteries. But you knew that already...
In order for us to help you with the voltage and current rating of such, we need to know if the LEDs are connected in series or parallel, how many LEDs there are, if there are any resistors in series with the LEDs, if the LEDs are connected directly to those wires in your photo or if there is any other circuitry.
It would also help if you could could identify the forward bias voltage drop across the LEDs at their rated current. What colour are the LEDs?

Can you trace out and post a circuit digram of what you have?
