I wonder what their respective sentences will be, maybe 15 years to him, 5 to her? Him out in 7.5 years, her out in 2.5?
When I see these cases where a biological parent (usually the mum but not always) invites the new partner to stay and even worse, when they don't intervene even though they suspect or know violence is taking place, I despair for the kids caught up in it.
