This follows from the Son’s Kitchen #2 and #3 posts. The pictures show the waste arrangments for the washing machine, and the waste diagram in the dishwasher’s spec. My son has a notion he can use the existing waste pipe from the washing machine to channel the waste from the dishwasher, but I’m pretty sure it needs its own waste outflow. Presumably a pipe running down the wall behind the appliances and exiting a foot or so above where the washing machine waste exits. (The spec shows it is possible to drain into the waste trap under the sink but this 6 or 7 feet away and round a corner. I have included a pic of under the sink in case this is a possibility) Please confirm or otherwise.
