Grateful for any advice regarding sound insulating underlays. Am going to install a 15mm engineered wood floor on a concrete subfloor and want to decrease any impact sounds as much as possible.
1. Technics 5, Cush'n'wood and Timbermate silentfloor gold seem to be 3 decent options, does anyone have any direct experience of either?
2. Toying with the idea of laying fibreboard first (pretty thin, 4-5mm) and then one of the above underlays on top for even better sound insulating - would this create any possible problems in terms of floor stability or evenness though?
Thanks
