Hi all, subject almost says it all. I have battened out the ceiling 3.5m x 5m in downstairs (noisy) room, under upstairs bedroom at 450 centres going across the joists.
I intend to board with 2700x1200 Soundbloc boards.
Three questions please....would you recommend noggins, and if so at what intervals?
What insulation would you put behind the soundbloc? mainly for noise reduction, but not looking to break the bank with dedicated state of the art materials.
Just something adequate will suffice.
