Hi,
First post in this forum, hopefully you can give me some ideas
I've just moved into a flat which previous had a living room going into a dining room, with internal French doors between.
This layout has remained but now wish to use the dining room part as a bedroom. The problem is i need to make sure these doors and doorway are soundproof, to limit disturbance between the rooms. (Bedroom backing straight onto a living room is not ideal).
The flat is rented so only semi-permanent solutions will be possible.
Does anyone have any ideas?
First thing I'll do is seal the gap underneath and around the doors. Then I was thinking of building almost like a partition that I could place in front of the doors, and maybe a big TV cabinet in front of it also. If so would need ideas for what material to use.
Pictures attached! Really appreciate any ideas.
