Hi,
I am installing four new vandal proof shower heads that fix into the wall, which are to replace existing shower heads. The new ones come with a threaded piece of 1/2 inch bsp which seals on the back of the head.
I need to remove the old pices of 1/2 inch bsp from the wall which belong to the old heads. This I have been able to achieve on three of the four locations but for some reason the fourth one just wont budge. It is like it has been screwed in with some sort of jointing compound which maybe has set????
My question is is there some way of loosening this piece of threaded pipe somehow?? I have tried WD40 but to no avail. Will applying heat to the joint achieve the result if there is indeed jointing compound present??
Hope someone can help ??
