Spalled Concrete fence posts. Can they be repaired? (Ed.)

I have these two concrete posts. They are badly damaged due to lack of repair over the many years.

I don't really want to replace them as it would cost a lot of money.

I have thought of doing a quick replace, of using cement to cover the affected areas, but I want it square/inline with the post.

Is there a technique which means I can cover the post partially with 3 sides of wood and effectively pour in concrete and work my way up?

Or suggest another way of repairing these? Thanks!

Any repair will fail the rust expands to crack any repair attempt .

Hadn't thought about that. I might just slather on cement and then see what happens.
