I have a spiral staircase going in which is open down stairs but needs to be closed upstairs.

If you can imagine a hole shaped like an n is cut in the cieling I need to build studd work around the curved part. Whats the best method to get a good curve. The diameter of the curve is 2 meters so its fairly tight!! I have been told plywood is the way to go and then put scored plasterboard around it then get it plastered. How would you recommend doing it!! The other problem is this studdwork will be different heights as the staors backs straight onto the angle of the roof!

Cheers

look at metal stud and 6mm plasterboard, check the fire regs first, maybe studwork with EML ( expanded metal lathing) and float and skim.
