Spirit level recommendations

Thanks all, I have ordered the Fatmax set as it wass on offer. Fingers crossed They are all good when they turn up.

Just a little update in case it helps anyone. I got the Stanley ones as they were on offer. I have tested them and they seem accurate and pretty strong. I don't think I would want to use them if I was a bricklayer, not sure they would stand up to a lot of abuse. But for what I need they are perfect.

I have only used a handful of different ones, but Stabila are usually better. Empire are ok, Stanley, DeWalt, Hultafors, Bahco, Draper. I’m sure someone can explain the plus or minus mm.

Plenty on here should be able to recommend, as there’s builders, joiners, tilers et al.

I purchased a pretty expensive blue Empire a few years ago. I was so underwhelmed by it that I didn't bother returning to site to pick it up when I inadvertently left it behind.

My only other Empire tool has been a combi-square. Even less impressed by that. The locking screw doesn't hold the ruler in place securely.
