Having a very cynical week this week.
Working in the gas industry could be reading meters or answering the 'phone. You're allowed to diy your boiler but not your uv cylinder. If you need to ask where to put a 2/3 port valve in your system I shudder to think about the 5 levels of protection on the uv.

Don't worry, nobody cares. You're supposed to tell building control BEFORE you put an unvented cylinder in. Even when someone unqualified put one in they just got me to say it complied. Put it in, enjoy yourself, makes a big pile of bricks if it was wrong. No problem there, you are well off anyway or you won't be able to afford to run it when it needs maintenance and parts.
