hi all
I had my floors done a few years back and there's a space of heavy traffic where the varnish has faded. Is there a way of touching up just that area? It really would be a massive pain to have the entire room done all over again.

It may be due to more wear in that area. It is possible to feather-in worn areas but it is a skilled job

@JobAndKnock it is a heavy traffic area, yes. I don't mind paying for it at all (not sure what 'feathering-in' means) - what I don't want is for someone to tell me I need the whole room done! Thank you

Feathering-in is where the centre of an area gets a full thickness of a material diminishing to the outer edges of the area. It is easier to do as a spraying technique where you diminish the coating thickness at the outer edges of the spray area.
