Hi all.

Got a couple of spotlights on a circuit that aren't working. Bulbs are all ok.

All the wiring is connected, so am unsure how best to identify the issue.

I assume it's still the wiring, but aside from replacing everything, is there a better method to fix?

Cheers vm

Maybe transformers have failed. If there is mains voltage ,230/240 volts, measured line to neutral at the terminal strips it's not a wiring problem with the supply.

It's the transformers.
Or the crappy little stabby pin lampholders.
Or the obsolete ceiling burner halogen lamps which will cost you 10x the price of LEDs.
Or all of the above.

The fix - sling the whole lot away and fit LED replacements.

Sling the lot away and fit GU10 compatible fittings so when the bulbs fail you just can change the bulbs

Sealed units are the work of the devil
