Hi all.
Had cavity wall insulation done a few months back. However, in the process of renovating a bay window internal cill I have noticed that they didn't fill that cavity... The wife now remembers them saying something about they said the cavity was too small to do... It's about 30mm on the two sides and 50mm across the front... So I presume they tested a side panel and decided all were the same.
I have some polystyrene beads left over from a bean bag project, should I fill the cavity with the remaining beads, whilst I have access, or can you buy loose fill mineral wool to do the job yourself?
Or is the size of the cavity a consideration for not filling, I presumed it was the applicator nozle that couldn't cope?
thanks for your comments..
