Squeaky Toilet Lid

Hi again,
i have a Vitra toilet, one of these type things

not a soft close one.

Does anyone know the best way to stop the lid squeaking? the seat moves fine but for some reason the lid has acquired a godawful squeak. i can't work out the fixings to take it apart to WD-40 it.

Try silicone spray rather than wd40.
Shouldnt have to take it apart - just spray and manipulate lid up and down to work the lubricant in.

thanks, that worked pretty good, will probably take a couple more tries. still think it's a bit of a naff design, must be some trick to release it if I need to replace the seat at any time, but I can't see anything obvious.
