Hey guys

This last year or so i have had a lot of work done in the garden, gone are overgrown bushes and instead i have a mix of bushes, hydrangeas and roses.
Everything is going fine (although my roses do not seem to realise it is autumn and are putting out fresh buds)

BUT! - we have a huge population of squirrels, a neighbour 2 doors away feeds them but does not have a garden of her own and they seem to constantly be burying nuts in my beds or digging huge holes (presumably because they have forgotten where the nuts are)

Other than fencing everything in, have you found any deterrents that work? i know they have a right to live etc, but they seem intent on destroying every plant

Cheers

Squirrel trap and then take them for a drive far away.
It's going to be noticed though.
Maybe somewhere more suitable.

Big cheese squirrel trap on Amazon. It's brilliant. Don't release them after catching them, it's daft and illegal. Fairly quickly your squirrel population will be gone and you will have some peace

As above trap and release at least five miles away, but it is illegal to release I believe.
